New Troubleshooting Guides and Trust Pages Are Live

VideoRepair now includes new troubleshooting guides for corrupted video scenarios plus a dedicated How It Works page that explains the repair workflow and current limits.

·2 min read

We have expanded the content layer around VideoRepair so it is easier to diagnose corruption, understand the workflow, and decide when the repair path is a good fit before you upload a file.

New troubleshooting coverage

The guides library now includes more problem-intent pages for common failure patterns such as:

  • missing MP4 moov atoms
  • videos with audio but a black screen
  • interrupted dashcam recordings
  • GoPro files that stop playing after power loss

These pages are built for users who are still diagnosing the problem and need a direct explanation before jumping into the repair tool.

New trust and workflow overview

We also launched a dedicated How It Works page that explains:

  • how local browser repair works
  • when a reference file helps
  • where the current limits are
  • why the workflow is designed around privacy and preview-before-export

Why this update matters

Not every visitor lands with high purchase intent. Many people arrive with questions like:

  • "Why won't this file play?"
  • "Is this corruption or just codec support?"
  • "Can I trust a browser repair tool with a sensitive video?"

The new content layer is there to answer those questions clearly and guide people toward the right next step:

  • read a guide if you are still troubleshooting
  • read the trust page if you want the workflow overview
  • open the repair workspace if you are ready to test the file

Start with the Guides library or open How It Works if you want the product-level explanation first.

Ready to make this video playable again?

VideoRepair scans the file structure, rebuilds missing metadata, and keeps the entire repair process on your device.
